About the event

This workshop explores the often anxiety-provoking topic of eroticism in therapy, addressing the fear, uncertainty, and ethical concerns it stirs for clinicians. Despite the high stakes and prevalence of sexual boundary violations in our field, therapists receive little training on how to navigate erotic content when it arises in the therapeutic relationship. Through discussion, case studies, art-making, and experiential exercises, participants will gain tools to stay present and ethically grounded while responding to erotic material with more confidence, skill, and compassion.
